Steps to record your meetings

1️⃣ Connect your Calendar : Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook

2️⃣ Configure what meetings to record : all of them, or toggle the recording manually for each meeting

3️⃣ Join the meeting

1️⃣ Connect your Calendar with Praiz

➡️ Go to the Calendar tab from the Settings menu

Praiz Meeting Recorder is compatible with Google Calendar and Outlook

Google Calendar

  • Select the Google user you would like to connect

  • Click on Allow to authorize Praiz to access your list of recordable events

  • Close the page, and that's it!

MS Outlook Calendar

  • Click on Connect next to Outlook

  • Click on Accept

  • Close the page, and that's it!

2️⃣ Configure what meetings you want to record

From the Meetings tab:

  • Click on Settings

  • Toggle the type of meetings you would like Praiz to record automatically:

💡 If you want all your meetings to be automatically recorded, toggle ON the first two only : External and Internal Meetings

Explanation for each setting:

  • Record external meetings: it will record all meetings with at least one external participant (email is not from the same @company.com).

  • Record internal meetings: it will record all meetings with only internal participants (email is from the same @company.com).

  • Record meetings where I'm not the organizer: the meeting will be recorded even if you are not the host.

  • Record recurring meetings: the meeting will be recorded only if it is a recurring meeting.

These additional 2 settings are filters:

  • Record confirmed meetings: the meeting will be recorded only if I said YES to the calendar invitation.

  • Record only self hosted meetings: the meeting will be recorded only if I am the meeting host.

  • Click on Save

3️⃣ Join the meeting

Simply join the meeting as usual, the Praiz Meeting Recorder will automatically join the meeting and silently record the video and audio from all participants.

Please make sure to Admit the Praiz Meeting Recorder as participant/guest, otherwise we won't be able to record the meeting.

The bot will try to join the meeting every 1min, so do not worry, the bot might take up to 60 seconds to join your meeting. To make sure you can record from the start, try to join the call 1min earlier to be ready!

💾 At the end of the meeting, just End the meeting for everyone, or close the tab if you are the last participant, it will stop the recording.

The video recording will be available a few seconds later on your Praiz account.

If you want to avoid recording the few seconds/minutes before participants joins, you can either:

  • wait to Admit the bot until participants joins the call

  • mute yourself until participants joins the call

This way, the recarding will start only when you start talking.
